NRA Basic Pistol Course
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation.
This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols.
Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development.
Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules, and take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate.
Course Fee:
$100 per person, firearms and ammunition will be provided

Course description:
An 8 hour course done over 2 days.
Day one, 4 hours classroom, no firearms or ammunition present.
Day two, 3 hours range time, live fire shooting exercise followed by 1 hour test and review.
Personalized instruction, no more than (4) students per class.
Not interested in a full course? Private lessons also available.
